AncestryandMe: DNA Processing Kit on Montez Press Radio
Description
American Artist, Zainab Aliyu and SFPC share 'AncestryandMe: DNA Processing Kit' on Montez Press Radio.
Tune in to engage with personal and critical reflections on our ancestral histories within the context of biometric surveillance and DNA tracing technology. We envision questions that are posed during this sharing to be a public resource for others outside of our class to use to help guide reflections and conversations around understanding familial analyses offered by DNA tracing technology.
Including contributions from participants of our summer 2021 critical theory class: Alix Jo Ryan, Ching-In Chen, Eileen Isagon Skyers, Ender Jose Barillas Rodriguez, Jon Rowe, Kengchakaj Kengkarnka, Madeeha Lamoreaux, Marie Alarcon, Stephen Song and Tina Nguyen.
